The WHOLE Scarf Series

Product Description

by NorBlack NorWhite
and the Khatri Family

The circular design on this colorful scarf series is based on meanings behind the process of bandhani (tie and dye). Traditionally, smaller ties which are close together represent work made for the richer communities. Larger ties (further apart) are made for economically poorer communities. WHOLE, balances both the large and the small, the rich and the poor, in one gigantic tie representing NBNW's circle and whole... And we're glad to be a part of it.

For Rubina's very first feature, designers from the Bombay-based label NorBlack NorWhite teamed up with the Khatris, a family of master bhandani artisans in Kutch, to design the WHOLE scarf series exclusively for Rubina.
